My sister seems to be the only one who can stop any cat from crying. She can also make them do things (like get off the keyboard) by only touching her nose to theirs. Should she go into the business, or is this normal behavior?

It takes cojones to go nose-to-nose with a cat you aren’t familiar with. That’s real cat mojo!

For a cat, facial closeness is a sign of trust and bonding. Getting a cat to allow you to get that close takes some real talent.

Imagine if a stranger walked up to you and touched noses with you. You would be pretty wigged out. Wouldn’t you? Multiply that by ten when you do that with a cat.

If your sister can reliably do this without getting clawed in the face, she has a rare talent.

I don’t know how but I think she should take advantage of it. :)

Hello and welcome to TCS. If she loves cats, and she can find a way to make a living out of helping cats with behavioral problems, I'd say, go for it. :catlove:
