Well my co-worker said they are going to have to junk my old car. I sold it to his son back in January when I got my new car. It was a 1996 Chevy Beretta, with 141,000 miles. It was a good shape, needed brakes, rotars & an oil change. His son was able to do the work himself so it wasn't expensive for him. Since January he had an accident with it, and most recently took it over a large bump in a construction zone. Well ever since the construction zone incident the steering has been a little goofy. So they took it in yesterday and found out the steering is totally messed up. Something is broken somewhere under the engine. So in order to fix it the engine would have to be lifted totally out of the car. apparently this would cost more than the car is worth. It now has 147,000 miles, but the engine runs like a champ. It is a shame because that car could have been good to 200,000 miles if he had been more carefull.

R.I.P. Beretta, you were a good car!
