It is funny how the hair is always nicer on other people's heads!
BTW, I have wavy/curly/frizzy/droopy/depends entirely on the weather long hair, and I like it best when it's long because if it's being temperamental I can just braid it or put it in a bun. End of worry!
If it's long enough, you can also smooth it out pretty well by wrapping it up in a bun with some smoothing lotion while it's still a little damp - then when you take it down after it's dry it will fall in nice smooth shiny waves. I've never had the patience for blow-drying or straightening irons.
Jellybelly, have you tried your hair in those little tiny braids? I've always thought those were just beautiful, but I don't know how expensive they are, or what's involved in maintenance.
