Picture this -- a king size bed, with one human female in it, surrounded/topped by as many as eight adult cats.
Maryam is the holdout -- so far. We're working on her.
I tell 'em, "I'm just a hot rock for cats!" (If you know any reptile people, you know what a hot rock is; if not, it's a heated "rock" you put in a reptile's space so (s)he can warm up, because reptiles are coldblooded and need external sources to maintain their body temperature.) Forget turning over during the night -- and getting up after the gallons of tea and coffee and pop I love to drink, is a necessary evil, but not one the cats appreciate!
