What's a little cold?Doesn't everyone open their windows when the temp hits 50?I am heading to the ocean this weekend, and despite the temps, I am willing to bet I see people in the water. I will probably even roll up my pants myself and get my feet wet

The water is quite cold always. We start swimming around mid June. Then it still actually takes your breath away! Literally. Mid July through the end of August the ocean temps get in the low 50s and its quite refreshing then.We have very few beaches though in my area its all rocks. We do have a small area though we swim at down the road that has abit of beach so we can get into the water.
