I wanted to share with you and thought you could give me some explanation because we feel helpless on this story.
we have 2 daughters and we recently adopted a new cat for them. he was around the age of 7 months old when we got him into the family. we had him for the past 4 months. we were about to send him to the vet to get him sterilized, but sadly he died a week before the appointment. he was very active and was always fighting the cats around the house to make his territory. but at home, he was an angel, very sweet and calm, affectionate, the perfect cat. about a week ago we took care of an abscess he had on his paw. it seemed fine cause it was no longer swollen and he was running like a champ like before.
the reason of death is not known... I found him collapsed under my wheelbarrow at 6 PM (it has been 2 days since we didn't saw him). the neighbor told us that they saw him during the morning. all his corpse was stiff, but the leg under him. (one of my ambulance friend told me it could be because all the blood went there after his death).
in his mouth, few eggs of flies. I'm guessing he died during the morning.... so sad cause he was so young.
my girlfriend is making all sort of scenario like: its the neighbor, they killed him because he was fighting with their cat. he was probably poisoned.
to be honest, I think it's a car hit and he bled his life to death inside his body or something like this. it's just so sad, our daughters are pained and we are shocked that he died so young.
It's now my 4th cat I loose in 7 years (one got hit in front of the house at 2 years old, the others were lost and never came back). we still have a 4 years old one, he doing well. but I feel like every time I get a new cat he's going to die anytime soon. I don't get it. when I was young we had that cat named "Pachat" and he last 19 years!!! that how I remember how cat is suppose to live. same for my girlfriend, she also had cats that was with her for more than 15 years.
one spiritual thing that I've noticed, he died with his head right in front of a flower ... what are the odd.
when I buried him, I've unrooted the exact same flower and placed it over his tomb.
