My kitties have a new puppy brother...

I picked him up yesterday, he's a 9 week old lab.

The cats won't seem him for another week. Should be interesting.

He is my SO's future hunting buddy.

He is so adorable!! My Tyler is a chocolate lab, but I rescued him when he was about 7 years old. Everytime I see a chocolate lab puppy I wonder what he looked like when he was a puppy. Hope you all have a happy life together.

We have a lab too - yellow. Chocolates are my fav color lab. But we chose yellow as its easier to see the ticks if we are going thru fields

Thanks everyone

His name is Duke. He's eventually going to go through training for hunting upland birds and waterfowl. I want to enter him in AKC competitions so he can earn a hunting title, but my SO would rather just have fun with him and hunt with him. We hope to get as many years as possible from him for hunting (hence the reason for getting a puppy).
