I bought a kitten from a pet store about two weeks ago. Yes, I know... buying from pet stores is bad.
I normally rescue all of my animals, but it was a difficult situation...
Anyway, on to the question...
My new kitten, Cricket, has runny stools. I was wondering if this is normal for kittens. He's about ten weeks old. I have another cat, but I was too young when I got her to remember if this happened with her, too. I just thought that it might be because of his food having a lot of protein in it. I'm not sure, though, so I'm asking. Maybe he has worms? I'll be taking him to the vet this week...
He doesn't act sick. He's as energetic and talkative as can be. He's eating, drinking, tinkling... the works.
What do you all think?
Thanks,
Emily
