Many headed your way!
Is there scent (maybe a cologne or an essential oil or similar) he likes and at the same time she doesn't like? That might be helpful. However if a cat is very attached to a human they might value skritches over avoiding a scent.Well, he will eventually heal, thankfully, but it won't be easy. He's still in the hospital, but in a private room. When he gets discharged, we may have to stay with his father a bit until our new apartment is available; we live upstairs, and with fractures in both his legs and major abdominal surgery/colostomy to boot, stairs are impossible for him for at least a few months.
I do have a question for you guys. Venus misses her daddy and of course will be coming with us. However, she has always liked to jump on Daddy's legs and belly. Obviously now jumping on the legs will cause him pain and on the belly pain plus possible damage. How can I encourage positive and safe interaction between Venus and my husband?
