Bea has been having somewhat loose stools for about a week, but I didn't think much of it with her being a Bulldog. (They are somewhat prone to gastric upsets.) But on Friday evening, she started having watery diarrhea every few hours. On Saturday afternoon, I called the emergency clinic just to see if they thought she needed to be seen, but they said as long as she's behaving normally, eating, and drinking, that I could just keep an eye on her.
I thought she was getting better today since she went all night without needing to go outside, and just peed this morning when I took her out. A couple hours later I put her back in her kennel to take a shower, and when I came back to let her out I saw that she had vomited all of her dinner from last night.
As I was cleaning that up, she had another bout of diarrhea in the kitchen.
I'm not sure what I should do. She is a little less active than most days, but it's also the warmest day we've had all year today so it might just be the heat. She is still following me around everywhere I go, and right before her vomiting episode she was chewing her bone like usual. I am tempted to bring her in just to be sure, but finances are REALLY tight this week and I don't want to waste money if I'm just overreacting.
