Recently my cat, Zorro, has become more affectionate.  He was more of a grumpy kitty, but know he's much more friendly.  I don't know whether it's fromfinally getting used to my other cat, or something else. What do you think has made him friendlier?

He's probably just warmed to you.  It takes some grumpy people a bit of time to warm up too.  Some cats/people are just not cat/people persons, think of shy or grumpy people who act as though they just want to be left alone but when you take the time to open up to them, they become firm friends.  Does your cat like other people or is he a wee bit grumpy in general?

He might, of course, have had some physical ailment or a touch of depression that he's now recovered from.  But I suspect he just realises that he actually likes the pair of you now, and has let his guard down.  He is called Zorro, after all, and has a certain air of mystery and stand-offishness to uphold.

It's a nice story anyway.
