My cat scratches itself

My cat has fleas and it scratches itself so much. I saw some spots around where it scratches so much, it has red skin or cut. Now how do I know whether it's fungal infection or just cut from his scratches. I put some natural antiseptic, turmeric on it's wounds.

That doesn’t look good. One of the reasons Cats need flea control is because they can have an allergic reaction to flea bites…..There’s also risk of tapeworms, anemia, death, transmission of bacterial diseases onto owners, like Cat Scratch disease, typhus and Plague.
