My cat not Meow

Hello!

Could you recommend an advice? I have got a cat Maine Coon and he has never said "meow".

Is it okey?

How long have you had him? If your home is fairly new to him, he may simply need more time to settle in and start voicing his demands. That said, some cats are simply a lot more vocal than others.

One of my cats didn't meow for a few months and hardly meows now. Some cats just don't meow, it's not a problem, it just seems a bit strange.

My sister's cat never meowed for the first year. She actually tried to teach him with limited success. The funny thing is that now he's a big, fluffy, bully of a cat with a tiny mouse-squeak for a meow.

Some cats are just quiet. Count your blessings, our oldest cat wouldn't shut up for the first couple of weeks he was in the house! The cat I grew up with never meowed, hissed, yowled or chattered, and we had that cat for roughly 12+ years. We have one kitten now that is very loud and demanding when she wants attention, but her sister is just the opposite.

It just depends on the cat. Don't look too much into it.
