My cat needs a tooth extracted

Well I found out that black spot I a broken tooth. What will vet do and recovery time?
I wish I had an estimate but they wouldn't give it to me until they see her. Waiting for my vet to give them information.

How much if anyone is in Texas is the cost?

My boy recently had a cleaning. I was quoted $500-700 depending on how many extractions were needed. If I remember right, it was $45-70 per extraction depending on which tooth. Luckily, he needed none extracted so the cleaning alone was $400ish. My vet is a cat specialist in Southern California, his bill included IV for medication during and after surgery, pain medications, antibiotics, anesthesia monitoring, ultrasonic cleaning (?? I just know his teeth are now shiny white) and the normal surgery stuff. I believe mine should be higher end bill because my vet is more comprehensive and it's a cat only practice.

We I tried applying care credit. I was approved than 3 yrs ago. I'm still awaiting a call. My vet recommended me cause of their low cost. So maybe I will be lucky and it won't cost so much
