So it had been a while since I had given my cats flee medicine. The first one went well but I lost my grip on the second one and it went everywhere part of it on her. I at first kept an eye on her and she didn't seem to clean herself for a bit but when she started I didn't want to risk it and I can't stop a cat from licking themselves over a long period.
So I got a wet cloth and wiped her fur several times and then dried it and also kept watch. She never foamed even though the warnings say foaming may occur if licked. But a bit later she began acting somewhat strange.
Like hiding under my desk with is atypical for her, not responding well when I talk to her or put my hand near her (usually she sniffs it she just ignored it) this has been many hours since its been first applied.
Her ears are somewhat warm but her nose is wet (not sure if that's at all relevant I know my ears get warm when I'm not feeling well.) I must have applied it at around 5:30 ish and its 12:30 my time so 7 hours ago.
The brand is Advantage II. I'm just super sensitive. I know from experience a sick cat tends to try to hide and acts somewhat weak and unresponsive. I'm just really paranoid. She hates the smell she may have not even wanted to lick it when she had it on her because of that. Idk just really scared. My roommates things its fine but my worries aren't so easily calmed.
I heard advantage is relatively less toxic compared to other brands but I'm not sure... she may just have a belly ache.
She is sleeping now but twitching. She climbed up to her high perch cat thing easy enough.
