Hi, My cat is 3 years old, she is really active, though lately she is been having some weird episodes. Last month i heard a noise in the kitchen and i think she pulled a chair that fell on her, she looked ok, i payed attention and looked like she was ok. Few days ago i got her on my lap and she tried to get away by getting up and jumping, and i heard a weird "crack" Then she was on the floor walking weird and limping on one of her rear legs. This passed away and in less than 20 seconds she was walking normal. I got worried though but i didnt do anything.
My boyfriend notice last week, that she got up from sleeping and she was limping again, and then back to normal. He though her leg fall asleep. Yesterday he was carring her on his arms and she was protesting too much and told him it was probably her leg. we put her on the floor and she was limping few seconds and then she was walking normal again. we touched her upper leg area around and between her femur and fibula and she was sore and cried. That passed soon too.
She eats well, she runs and jumps and does everything else normal, Im concerned because im afraid ot could be some kind of thromboembolism. Im getting pet insurance for all of my cats but wont be effective until 30 days. I will take her as soon as possible im just afraid if this situation puts her in risk of dying. I just finish paying last month my other cat's bill, he gor UTI and now he is better. I know for sure my cat will need xrays and all.
I will appreciate some comments or information. Im really concern about my cat.
Thank you.
