My Cat Knows Everything

Hey guys... I have a tabby (His name is Ollie it's the cat I set as my profile pic) and he seems to know everything... Once I hurt my knee and that night he was hugging my leg and purring. When I woke up he was gone but my knee felt better! It's like he knew and decided to heal me with his purring! There was another time when my piano teacher had a sore neck. My cat jumped onto the chair's back support and sat there for the whole lesson. The piano teacher felt better after that experience too! Then whenever I least expect it he just appears out of no where. I could be showering, and when I'm done I find him in the sink just sitting there...

What a cutie pie your Ollie. It's sounds as though he is very loving and affectionate towards you.

Not sure if a cat's purring can really cure pain, however, there is this TCS article on The Power Of The Purr so maybe they can.

Aww what a wonderful cat you have! It sounds like the two of you share quite the bond . If I remember right I believe I’ve read that we still don’t know all of the benefits of purring but that there were some who believe that it has healing effects. I wouldn’t doubt it ‍. Either way I know I always feel better when I’m around a purring cat
