Man that seriously bites that the doctor can't do one in house... just to ease your mind that it was nothing you did and ease your mind that maybe he had something seriously wrong. At least by not doing it you'll have him back. I am so sorry for your loss. I know for me I was always expecting both of my cats to grow old and not have to worry about death until they were crusty and ancient and it was what I felt was a good time. I just lost my 3 year old furbaby this past Friday so I empathize with you, I know how much it hurts and I'm very sorry for your loss.After speaking with our vet, we have decided not to get the necropsy. They would have to send him away and we would not get him back. They would put him in a mass cremation. I want him back. My husband is away and I think we need to say goodbye together and sprinkle Jasper's ashes somewheres quiet. I think I will find greater comfort in this than knowing for sure what happened to him.
