Hello.
I have a cat hes about 12 years old(male) everything was ok until one day he stopped to eat,to drink we took him to the vet he looked at him and did a blood test here are the results if anyone interested:
the vet said his kidneys and liver they began to function not good so he started to do him every 2-3 days infusion and he injected him every 2 days antibiotics for i don't remember the name but the packet was grey with huge capsules but i don't get one thing if my cat can pee without any problems that means his kidneys are working properly am i right?and the vet said the kidneys are barely working..when we started to go to the vet for the first time he was 7kilos and after like a month or so he lost alot of weight to 4kilos!he started to get thinner and dry...he barely eat something the vet said i should feed him with milk until the next visit.
today i was cleaning my house and found out that in his poop there was a lot of worms inside...i mean not a fresh pop like umm he did that poop like one week ago and there was tons of worms inside is that normal?
what i am trying to say is maybe the vet is doing not the right stuff what my cat needs he said his kidneys are barely working but the fact is he can pee without any problems at all..maybe this vet is trying to rip me off i don't know seriously or maybe hes right what hes doing...i paid around 1000$ already and still no progress at all...maybe my cat is getting too old and this is what happens...
i am looking for advices from experts...please i want to save my cat i don't know what to do
thanks and have a nice day!
