My cat has been walking around with a limp tail for 2 days and today I took him to vet. He did x-ray and told me he has mildly dislocated vertebrae and it needs to be amputated.
I'm in such horror now. I'm reading posts and see that many people out there had surgery done in which vet fixed the dislocation. He was only given vita b, c and some injection with a drug that could help him with the tail.
What do you think? Can I do anything on my own? Like some kind of cream which would help with relocation?
I'm sure I need another vet and second opinion on this.
