The vet thinks she might have liver problems because she's peeing orange. When we first took her in, he did NOT do a fecal, blood work or urine work. She freaks out bad when you try to do anything to her. So he came back in the room, said she wouldn't calm down enough, handed us some amoxicylin (.15) and said good luck.[emoji]128544[/emoji] She weighs about 4#
She was dehydrated so we took her back the next day. He did NOT run any iv fluids because she was freaking out. He just gave her subcutaneous fluids. He then gave us prednisone (1.3 cc's twice a day) to give to her along with the amoxicylin
He says he won't sedate her because of her possible liver problems.
Tonight she had a 5-7 minute seizure. She's OK now. We're taking her back first thing in the morning. Do we demand he sedate her and run blood work, a urine sample and fecal? Or can he sedate her with her possibly having liver problems?
