Thankyou, I may be able to get some one day, she has the most amazing furry feet, she needs a good brush but I think it will be a while before I can do that too, I have tried but she gets too distressed when you hold her.xOriginally Posted by aprilyim
Awww! I hope she keeps on coming out of her shell.
I'd love to see close-ups once she is comfortable with you taking them!
Maybe when she starts to get more confident you can entice her with the brush?Originally Posted by Ruthyb

She used to love toys, she hasn't played since she lost her leg,I hope she does again one day, after this morning she has been upstairs all day, hoping she will come down again when the kids go to bed.xOriginally Posted by aprilyim

Add a string or a toy to its handle? Offer treats for approaching the brush and you?
Simba thinks his brush is a toy because I dart it about... so he comes running and then I brush him while he's circling around to figure out how to attack it.
When he lies down on his side I start brushing his belly, but he is super ticklish there and he starts kicking the brush away with his foot and tries to grab at it with his front paws... but I still get it done.
Mhm! I hope she will remember how fun toys were and she can build up the confidence to know she can still play even with three legs!Originally Posted by Ruthyb
