My barn, before & after, complete w/ horse

Here's the barn when we first started on it.



Here it is all finished and inhabited by horses!!

Congratulations! I love arabs, used to own the most beautiful half arab palamino, named Sahir.

Looks great. And I bet they love it! As for peppermints, it is habit - in France, no one gives foals mints and adult horses don't know what they are. In the UK and most of hte US they get them and love htem. Here in Bosnia very few horses have them, though I got the horse I ride quite hooked on them..

Thanks, all.

Leana is much happier in her new barn...she gets to go outside and graze and kick up her heels whenever she wants, which she didn't get to do at her old barn. Much healthier for a horse's mind that way.

As for the mints, I think it's the sugar. Horses are sugar feinds. It's like cat nip to them. It's healthier for them than sugar cubes, and peppermint oil supposedly aids digestion.
