If his appetite doesn't return, there are medications that can help. Hopefully with the reduced chemo he will start returning to his old self. Keep us posted.

Hi
Im not sure what the chemo Vito had for as called .. but it helped him and he did not have major side effects
Unfortunately Vito passed away last weekend .. the cancer came back and he became anemic ... but without the chemo he would have been gone a long time ago ... so all in all it helped him ...
I hope your cat will be ok
I admire your strength, and I am so saddened to hear this news. I'm know we have no choice but to make the best of all the moments, but some days Im exhausted from giving medicine twice a day to watching him like a hawk to look for odd behaviors. Tomorrow I will make the appointment for the oncologist and hope his side effects are minimal to none and that he begins to feel better soon. Sending you lots of hugs as I am right there with you.
Thank you so much
The only side effects Vito had was some fatigue around the days after the treatment....his whiskers fell out & then regrew....his outer layer of hair she’d so it was sooo soft and lighter ...but it went back after stopping the chemo
All in all he handled it well
Good luck with everything ...hope your kitty does well
Lisa
We I lost my Bailey Bill to myeloma this morning. We tried two different chemotherapeutic drugs and both failed. This past Wednesday we decided to try pulse dosing with cyclophosphamide where we gave 75 mg in one dose followed by a longer break. His hem blood was at 12% with 24,000 platelets. The oncologist felt that the cancer was not allowing for the production of the RBC. I don’t know if his bone marrow was too week, the chemo to much or the cancer just unstoppable. I feel terrible. We only made it 90 days following diagnosis. I will miss him to the end of my days. My 8 year old boy left us too soon.
