Moving with an old cat

I'm 34 and I have a cat who is almost 20 years old. I'm sick of living with my parents, but I can't leave the cat behind.  Will she be stressed by the move?  I want to find a little apartment.  I'm just a little concerned that she will become sick with stress.  She won't miss my parents' cats, she doesn't like them.  But will a change of scenery be too much for her?
