MOVING FROM CONNECTICUT TO GEORGIA WITH CATS AND DOGS, ANY HOTEL RECOMMENDATIONS ALONG THE ROUTE??

Hi There Folks,

Tom and I are moving south with the 17ft rental truck & the tow trailer with his truck on it and me driving my car with the fur babies all in it. Tom doesn't think he'll be able to drive straight thru like I did 14 hrs straight the last time because of the rental truck and towing a truck behind will take longer so Im wondering if anyone knows of the hotels along the trail that will allow us to bring in the animals to rest. We will be taking the 'Avoid Tolls' route of I-287 to 77 to 85 but will probably be stopping somewhere in Virginia, west Virginia or even the tail end of Pennsylvania before he gets tired. Any suggestions would help thanks! - Kim

If I were you, I would google 'pet friendly motels' for the locations you might stop.

I wish I knew of some good hotels, but good luck with the move!  What part of GA are you moving to?  I moved from CT (Milford area) to TN several years ago.  VA used to be our regular pit stop when making the trek back and forth.
