Hi. I was wondering what mouth ulcers in cats look like. I am looking after a friends cat whilst she is on holiday (for 3 weeks) andit seems to be having a little difficulty chewing. When I looked into her mouth, on both sides she has a small lump behind the bottom canine on each side, they are not raw sores, but just look...lumpy almost like a blister shape. The cat is 15 years old, and had a proper clean of her teeth dont last summer under anesthetic, and has been fed dental treats ofen since then. Are these ulcers, or something more serious? And how would you go about treating them. Is there anything you can get over the counter for it or does she need a vet vist? Please help!
