Speaking of motivational poetry, one of my coping devices is the phrase
Even this shall pass away.

This comes from a poem by Theodore Tilton, that starts,

Once in Persia ruled a king,
whom upon a signet ring.
"Graved" a motto both true and wise,
that when he held before his eyes.
Gave him council at a glance,
Fit for any change or chance,
Solemn words and these were they
Even this shall pass away.
