Winter is pretty moderate but the last few years we have had a lot of rain. But never very cold. Californians are wimps about rain or cold, you should hear the whining, it cracks me up.

I lived in the Fairfield/Vacaville area for 6 years & remember it got so hot the Freeway buckled!(I-80) One of the concrete slabs had lifted up several inches & backed up traffic for miles..
But I'm back in Florida, & things are just starting to heat up! Right now, it's beautiful. Our winters can be cold, usually dry, some people like it more than others. I'm a lizard-I prefer the heat!
