The snow has finally stopped here--9 inches, which isn't too terrible. Our street crews do a pretty good job of keeping things clear. It's the alley that gives me trouble. Our garage opens onto the alley, and of course when the plows do the streets they leave several feet of snow at the ends of the alley. My car can't get thru that much snow (I can actually get bogged down in a couple of inches; poor old car!). Last big snow we had, I pushed my snow blower to each end of the alley & cleared them out. Whew! At least my DH's SUV can get thru, so I'm not totally housebound.
