Mood dependent on nose color?

Zero's nose changes a bit, too. Well, the pink half does, anyway. If he's really relaxed, sleeping, etc., it's usually paler, but it gets redder, more flushed if he's playing or being crazy. After a long session with Da Bird or the laser pointer, it's nearly red. His pink toes also change a bit, too.

I think it's mostly just heart rate & blood pressure.

yes, Spencer is a tuxedo cat-- a very cuddly and loving lap cat. :-)

and i think its cool that our cats noses change color like this! it like their own personal feline mood ring.

Easier to tell than meowing or other method of communication

Ku Ku's feet(pads) is the same way - color changes just like her nose

i think its cool that i noticed -- it is nice to be able to tell when he wants more attention or when he just wants to jump around and take off on his own again--- it is kinda like another form of cat communication.

I noticed feet today - one of the barn cats has pink pads and he decided he needed my undivided attention. When he finally got to the point of kneading the air, his pads got deeper pink. Never noticed his pink nose though....it was mostly shoved against my hands

Baby has a brick red nose, it never changes, but neither does her mood.
Jade's nose is black, just black.
Spaz's nose is black and orange, and she is a bit bipolar.
