It's been so hot and dry here that I could tell where DH was mowing this weekend based on the dust cloud. He almost didn't need to mow at all; but he hadn't done our neighbors yard in a while so that actually had some height to it. Brown height; but it was in need of trimming.
I saw a flock of geese go over this afternoon. We have some that seem to stick around in the winter; so it might not have meant anything. The weather is still hot and dry. The dry part may change over the next few days. I sure hope so!! It doesn't feel like fall. I even put off buying some new pants for my DD. She is between sizes; so I'm going to wait till the weather makes up it's mind before I buy something that she outgrows in a blink!
