Suspected appendicitis when I was 11. Turned out to be glandular fever, not the mono you can walk around with no knowing you've got it.

1-1/2 years ago I was vomiting blood. Ambulance came and off I went. I was mostly unconscious thank goodness especially when they put a zonda up my nose and down into my tummy and a liter and a half of blood came out. Turned out i had an ulcer, which didn't hurt, that burst. Had 4 pints of blood and was in for
a week. My hemoglobin wouldn't settle. They were prepared to let me home if it settled on 8 - should be over 12 - but it fluctuated. Eventually I was pleading to go home and the doctor said ok but against his wishes. I lost 10 kilo. I was supposed to do all sorts of tests but I didn't.
