Babies should not be separated from mom prior to 8 weeks. 10-12 weeks is even better.

Mom can be spayed when the kittens are 8 weeks old, so end of September/early October sounds about right.

kskatt i think she is. She won't let me near her stomach. When she lays on her side her nipples are bigger than before she gave birth. I still haven't been able to find the kittens. A neighbor said that Luna will bring them out in a week or so like she did with her last litter. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and will continue to look.
