It wasn't really a "second chance". Her first answer was the one that counted for the pagent. The Today Show just gave her a chance to redeem herself from her stupid, mangled, nonsensical answer that she gave the night before during the pagent.

She still doesn't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed

Unfortunately I am from SC. I'm sure people from around the world really think we're a dumb state now... I promise we're not! You know, I think her coach may have had something to do with it. They tell you to talk about specific subjects, so maybe she felt limited to that and just tried to get it back around. I feel bad for the poor thing. But hey... she's a teenager (it was Miss SC TEEN), and probably blonde, and we know how that goes...

i laughed soo hard after listening to this.. She rambled soo bad.. and I honestly don't think there was a coherent sentence in her speech..

I feel bad for her,, she's always gonna look like such an idiot for that answers...
