Well, just thought I'd update. Ming Loy is completely back to normal, knock wood! She's wrestling with Billy, trying to steal Lazlo's food, jumping out and surprising Spooky, etc. etc. etc.

We'll never know what caused the pancreatitis, but hopefully it was a one-time thing..... :heart2:

I realized I should update this thread to reflect the fact that we're 99% sure we know what caused the pancreatitis! It was apparently a virus we brought home with us from two rescued kittens.

LDG - Thank You for providing the links to articles on feline Pancreatitis.  My kitty Winston was just diagnosed this week.  The vet suspected and did a TH PLUS w/ SPEC fPL : CBC STANDARD panel which shows levels consistant with Pancreatitis. 

I know very little about this in cats, and am quite worried.  Hopefully reading these articles (and the rest of this thread) will allay my fears somewhat .  I hope Ming Loy is doing well - SA
