A few days ago we were contacted by the same woman who turned over Milo's litter to us. Milo is the cat farthest to the right in my lineup up there, paws over his face in my cat photos. They wanted to know if we had room for four more kittens, who are Milo's (probably half) siblings. We know the mother is the same for the litters.
Well she died today. Hit by a car at the dump she lived at. The people there tried but they could not trap her, she was too smart. So she stayed there at the dump and had more kittens this spring. She leaves behind Milo and his orange littermates, also these four new kittens who are only a month old.
Rest in peace, mother of the smartest and kindest cat I have ever had the pleasure of living with.
