I don't believe there is an annual fee. I will have to double check but I think it is just the one time registration fee.Originally Posted by MeowsersMom
I got one of my cats from the humane society and he had already been microchipped, however, the previous owner never registered their information on the chip so he was adopted out to me. My HS also told me it was fairly common for owners to have their pets chipped, but not registered, and their policy was to wait the requisite time for the owner to claim the animal before adopting it out. I checked the homeagain website and saw it cost $17 to register my info on his chip. Is there also an annual fee included with this?
What kind of vitamin? Spot gets lysine, when I remember to give it to him, to help with his sneezing. It's a pretty large pill, so I dissolve it in a little bit of water and mix it with some Fancy Feast (I know it's not the greatest food, but it gets the lysine down and he also gets Royal Canin dry).Originally Posted by sharky

As for the microchips, I just returned from having Willow microchipped (Spot got his last month). Both are with 24PetWatch. By the way, 24PetWatch will let you register for free even if you aren't using one of their chips. They allow registrations for AVID, HomeAgain, Crystal Tag, EIDAP, Microchips4Solutions, and PetNet.
Make sure the price is the total price. This includes the chip and registration fee.Originally Posted by Nebula11

Can anyone give me a price range???
Yes it's wonderful and I am grateful for that. My clinic used to use another chipping company but they started to charge yearly so we switched to 24PetWatch. My two girls were chipped by them but my dog had already been chipped by the first company who charged. We were able to register all of his information with 24PetWatch, so that's the company all of them use and I'm happy with them.Originally Posted by cloud_shade
