I followed the advice posted on this forum to give my long-haired kitty a sanitary trim (or as I like to call it, a butt cut) to help reduce poop stuck on him. Thank you to everyone who's opined
.
Also, I switched him to a hug litter box over the weekend (22" x 18" x 18") to give him more room to do his thing.
This morning, I found him with poop-clump stuck on one of his hind leg (now, the other one) again! I think he feels a bit ashamed by this as I can see the weird expression on his face when I picked him up and cleaned him (oh, the smell
). Poor little man! Plus, the clump-poop he drags around the house is taking me forever to track and clean.
Question: is he going to grow of this this phase?
Question: should I trim the hair behind his legs also? This would seem odd, but I'm up for anything at this point.
Help, help, help...
