I don’t understand why companies label their dry food “weight control” but when I look them up on catfooddb.com it shows food has more carbs and less protein..
I had looked up Merri k foods, mainly to check out the dry and that’s when I saw their “weight control” dry…Im not singling out this brand because I’ve seen others that label as weight control but still have more carbs….i thought carbs was one of the things we should be watching out for, what’s the more important thing to watch, carbs or calories?

According to my partner who is currently on a weight loss program, it's the carbs.

I never buy dry. This has chunks. What's important is she can eat it without throwing up
