Hi!
My name is Elise, and I'm from southern New Jersey. My husband and I are parents to 8 kitties:
Dust Bunny
Mr. Fuzz
Inky
Cricket
Chickpea
Athena
Aphrodite
Persephone
We adopted the first 5 from local shelters in NJ (plus another one that we lost to FIP
which was closest to my husband and he still isn't even close to okay with it after 3 years now).
The last three are sisters that we took in from an irresponsible acquaintance that put their female outside without spaying her first. They are very shy still, after more than 2 years, but it's understandable in a house full of 8!
They are ALL INDOOR cats. Growing up, I lost several kitties because my parents believe that cats should have outdoor time. I'm sure they do enjoy it, but to me, it's just not worth the risk
Looking forward to chatting with all of you! I feel like I have found my kindred spirits
