Hello all... New cat on the block here.
My name is Helen, my friends call me Helly. I found this site while looking for advice on my kitty Josh. I have two, actually... the other one is Josh's brother from the same litter. His name is JJ. They've never been seperated. I'll post a picture of them in the other forum.
Josh is the gray/white tuxedo, JJ is the black/white.
We live in northern RI just on the borders of MA and CT. I'm happily
married to a super guy who sometimes gets on my nerves... but for the most part he's a good boy.
JJ and Josh couldn't be more opposite... funny how that is with siblings...even human ones! JJ is lean and dominant...a hunter to the core. Loves to be outside in the spring/summer/fall all day long if you let him. He sleeps as night like people do, so that's way cool.
Josh is muscular but passive (most of the time)... and he'd rather be on the inside looking out. He does his business outside though... they both do, thank God. Josh is the perfect cat. Except that within his normal behavior he's awake all night and wakes me up at 4am every day to go outside. I say under normal behavior, because he hasn't been himself lately. He normally loves to play but he's just not playing much this past week, and he's been sleeping more than usual... not very excited about dinnertime. VERY not like himself.
Today though, 9/25/07, he seems a bit better. Just a bit though. I'll update his condition in the other forum... I don't want to break the rules...
So that's my family.
Otherwise I work as an office manager for a therapy office in Warwick, RI and my husband is a technical consultant for a insurance company in MA. We have a mortgage on a house we hate and two kitties we love. Life is good.
