My collie warned me about a nighttime tornado a few years ago. He begged to be let out of the house very suddenly and while we were out the lights went out and then came back on. He ran to the front of the house and started barking in a specific direction and then ran back into the house barking frantically at me, very unlike him. As soon as I got inside and had the door shut behind me the house was hit. It sounded like a train was running over the roof and scared our other dog very badly.Dog gone wrong today and cat right.
Dogs can definitely sense a weather change, particularly a thunderstorm coming. I know tons of dogs who are frightened of thunder. Rather than some kind of "spooky" extra sense, I just think they're sensitive to changes in barometric pressure in a way that humans aren't.
Me too!Two lucky Monday guesses!
Yep, Same here...
