Yes I have! I studied the area, it history and music.

I do. I have a lot and I have played some Spanish music as well. I am most likely going to do a unit next year on Mexican music with my World Music class.

1. My Chemcial Romance...Danger Days the True Lives of The Fabulous Killjoys
(because its upbeat and fun)
2. My CD of Beethoven's symphonies ESPECIALLY Number 7. That is my Favorite
3. Jean Pierre Rampal's collection of flute music from Japan...it is very very relaxing
4. The Beatles greatest hits....Because i love the Beatles
5. System of a Down Toxicity...because its great music for a bad day.

1. Anything by Jonathan Kozol but if i have to pick one it would be Amazing Grace.

My iPod, my Flute or piccolo, my camera.

Oatmeal (because its yummy and filling and i eat it every day)
Apples (great on their own and in the oatmeal)
Hershey's dark chocolate

My husband. Because he makes me laugh.

Where have you been? Insanely busy!

When does school end? It ended yesterday.

When are you coming to visit? When you invite me.

(since it seems you are always on the go I'm afraid to be like...Hey Danielle I'm in the area killing time because my students can i hang?)

When do you plan on giving me a call? Yeah..this one I don't have reason for...I will call you soonly. Any time good for you? I am afraid of calling at a bad time and waking Lexi up.

How did your cats come to live with you?
They were both Rescues...

Moo...was this cute but badly abused kitten that was in such bad shape that the vet refused to turn the cat back over the owner after saving the cat from being left in a homemade flea dip too long. He was about 2 flea bites away from death, badly underweight and had 3 paws in the grave. The vet didn't think he would live though the night so they didn't put him in a cage just left him in a cozy box on the receptionist desk. THe next morning they were shocked when he tried to climb out of the box.

When he was healthy enough to leave the vet my sister (who worked at the vet and knew i wanted a tuxedo kitty) brought him home for me. He took one look at me and the rest is history. He has been attached at my hip ever since. The vet doesn't yell that he is a tad overweight in fact he is happy to see how happy, and healthy moo turned out.

Tilly... was another rescue. Again by the same vet my sister worked for. She was found and trapped under a porch and was the runt of a little of rather mean cats who beat her up. It was so bad that when they bought them into the vet the other cats were in one cage and she was alone in a seperate cage. My sister sent me a photo with the caption "I need a home" I saw it dropped what i was doing, canceled my afternoon lessons and drove an hour to the vet just to meet her. She came home with me that weekend.

She never did get very big as she had a really bad Thyroid problem and was losing weight faster then she could put it on. It wasn't like she wasn't eating...she was eating EVERYTHING that wasn't nailed down. It took about a year but we finally got her weight under control and she has turned into quite a nice cat but with a healthy amount of attitude. She and Moo are the best of friends.

Or as my cat sitter says they are two cats in love

Have you trained them to do any tricks?
Nope. But they have trained me to get up in the morning and feed them or my hair will suffer

Do you dress them up?
nope. I put an orange bow on Moo once for Halloween. It was cute but he was sooo mad I never did it again.

What's your favorite holiday?
Thanksgiving

What's your least favorite holiday?
Easter

What was your favorite subject in school?
Music

What was your least favorite subject in school?
Math

What's your favorite movie?
I don't have just one....
I love Submarine Movies, Star Wars (original 3) and Zoolander

What is your fave purple item? wow...umm either the purple amethst necklace DH gave me our first year together or my purple lava lamp collection

What is your fave personality quirt of Tilly?
I love that when you pet her she flops over like a cow and she is amazingly cute when she plays with the laser pointer she flattens like down a pancake and she has really big eyes and follows the laser pointer all serious. She also has the LOUDEST purr ever. AND I love her happy I'm getting food dance that she does every morning.

How about Moo?
I like that we talk to each other and he acts like a dog when I get home fro mwork. Apparently he meows for me until I get home and DH always knows when I am home because he pops awake and starts running around the aparment meowing. He will also watch me walk in from the window and is ALWAYS waiting for me by the front door.

He's my stalker kitty.
every night he comes to the side of the bed and meows I say Hi moo and he hops up and curls up next to me purring and goes to sleep.

Please explaine your obession with cows?
I really can't explain that...it is just what it is.

Would you like to own a pet cow?
Heck yeah. I saw on the news they now have this little breed of cow that you can keep as a pet inside since it is so tiny..well for a cow at least i think the newspeople said it was roughly the size of a large dog.

I like the Black and White ones

I think Tilly thinks she a vampire...since she bites my hair at night.

This time Food and such...

1. Do you cook? Do you like to, or is it a chore? I LOVE to cook. I find it very relaxing.

2. Do you like to cook with someone else? How well do you share your kitchen?I do. I think really well.

3. What is your favourite thing to prepare? wow...too many to choose it depends on my mood. I have a cookbook collection from around the world so I rotate what I make. BUt if I had to choose just one thing...Brandied Shrimp and Pasta. Or White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake.

4. What is your favourite dish that someone else prepares for you? Who?
My DH makes the BEST breakfast burritos and omelets.
5. Either of those favourites might be a comfort food, or not. What is your favourite comfort food? Wanton Soup

6. What is your favourite celebration food? Thai or Sushi

7. When people come to my table, I always ask first whether there are any allergies/sensitivities/likes/dislikes I should keep in mind. If you came to my home, what would your answer be? I don't tolerate Wheat/gluten and fake sugar like nurta sweet (can be fatal)

yup! Will try anything..in fact I had goat for the first time the other day.

LOL I do. I play mostly classical professional and i just landed a spot in an orchestra which is very exciting. One of my Co-workers has been begging me to form a Jethro-Tull cover band with him for years. SO I'm working on some Jethro Tull.
