Well, she pooped a load & a half when she got home. Tomorrow's the big day again. Once again - I have to work so I drop her off in the AM & wait at work for a phone call (and hope the boss doesn't catch me on the phone
). Mom's picking her up for me as I get off work 15 mins after the vet closes.
No stones.
Yes blood/UTI.
No crystals, pH OK (7.0 I believe)
She's not eating much, but I think that's my fault for feeding her a canned food that didn't sit well with her. We have anti-biotics & anti-nausea meds. X-rays were clear, blood work was clear.
that Eden feels better soon Poor sweet girl has been through so much, I hope the vets can find a cure for her soon. She's lucky to have such a dedicated foster mum.
Yes they pay vet bills - when they're willing to do the tests, etc. A cat like Eden comes through the shelter - she would've been euthanized. Too costly to try to save one cat, they just can't afford it.
I hate to say it, but given how little funding there is & how many animals - I've payed for a lot of vet care on animals that weren't my fosters - to give them half a chance.
She ate some dry food on her own today - no more than half a dozen bites of kibble & it took her forever to eat it - but she ate it. She's eating her wet food good, too.
I dont have to go that far, but do spend a fair amount on vets bills each year for fosters. Is it prescription dry, as if not, she shouldn't have dry food while she has urinary issues.
