Elsa had a really big litter, and 2 did come very closely together, so I did have to break the sac on one just to be aware of that.

Ya, I had a litter of 8 once too, and mom cat was sick, so I had to break all of the sacks and cut all the cords! It was complete kaos!!
Well, I'm starting to think that it was just a false alarm

but I definatly did see milk, so it can't be long now! Her "contractions"( which I now thin were coughs from her cold) didn't get much stronger, so we might have another day to go

Today is the two week mark since we got her, and, of course, still no kittens

That is what I feel like right now! Still no babies- I had to cancel a trip for this weekend with a friend so that I could stay here with Zoe and wait for the babies. If she doesn't have them by the end of this weekend, I probably will start crying!

I haven't checked this thread in a couple days. It was supposed to have a million pictures of tiny little kittens in it by now. I think you need to speak to Zoe. Her audience is waiting impatiently.

If what I saw really was milk, and if this is her first litter, there should be kittens within the next 24 ours

Sometimes I think that's just what she plans on doing

She was in her nest when I came home a few minutes ago, and she was in there for quite a while this morning, so

that maybe today will be the day.

And Rianna-

I did try talking to her, but she just purred away, ignoring everything I said
