Abi arrived at our house this past monday. She's a 12 week old kitten we adopted from the humane society where she lived in a little steel cage and still managed to stay calm and sweet. She wasn't skittish nor was she a whirling dervish. Her first vet visit was smooth as ice. And in a month she will have a hysterectomy. Abi is going to be a completely inside cat and is already training me quite well. We made a compromise; she stays off my keyboard and I feed her when she tells me its time.
Abi appears to have some Abyssinian in her, she's a short haired calico with amber eyes. Her manner is very calm and loving. She is the world's best biscuit maker and after her morning play session she loves to spend the day curled up on or near me.
I couldn't imagine that a cat could make me so very happy. She is the best anti-depressant I have ever had.
I just can't wait to show her off. http://webpages.charter.net/parkavenue/pets.html
By the way... I am Diana from Montgomery, ALabama.
