Cosette had been showing symptoms of a typical kitty cold they get from the shelter. At first it just seemed viral, but lately she developed eye discharge and seemed to not be improving much. I took her to the vet today who put her on liquid antibiotics and medicated eye drops. She made both of those doses look incredibly easy.
When I gave them to her tonight, it was not the case at all. I think she hates me now. She certainly doesn't trust me at the moment and is hiding under my bed. I don't want her to continue this distrust (although I understand why she's scared) and I would rather this be as stress-free of a process as possible. Are some cats just stubborn when it comes to medication? What techniques can I use to make this as painless as possible?
Dogs are so much easier to medicate...
