The longer tailed cats are siamese/oriental types

Sebastian (4.5 yrs) 11.5"

Sylvester (4.5 yrs) 12"

Boris (6 yrs) 7". He's inbred for generations and has a really short tail.

Tadhg (1.5 yrs) 11"

Kennelly (1.5 yrs) 11"

Jasper (10 months) 13.5"

I think Ari gets his tail from his Turkish Angora mom.

Jaffa's is pretty long as he has a long body and most cats seem to have tails in proportion to their body, but I've no chance of getting an accurate measurement as he hides under the bed when I have visitors. Mosi has a shorter body and a shorter tail - even with 3 inches of fluff on the end it's still shorter than Jaffa's.

Sonic sports 12.5 inches of tail

Radar has a magnificent 13.5 inches.

Given that they are both small cats and Sonic is still a kitten, I am quite chuffed that they did so well.

Hmmm, I tried this one, but Spot gave me a look and ran away when I grabbed her tail. Isadora won't come out of her condo....and she'll surely try to kill me if I grab her tail.

Maisie`s tail is a weeny 1 inch long. She still wiggles it though
