Well, Brody is a very picky little dog when it comes to food. The only food I can get him to eat is Royal Canin Mini Special 30. It is formulated for small dogs who are picky eaters. Perfect for him.

I don't HAVE a dog, but I work with dogs

Best kibbles for dogs IMO are mostly the same as for cats:

Solid Gold
Innova
Natural Balance
Wellness
Canidae
Eagle Pack

But if I had a dog I'd feed raw same as my cats!

as a question for that. What kind of raw do you feed them? Is there some raw
food you are not allow to feed?

Thanks

From experience, DONT feed them anything spicy... trust me, it's messier coming out then going in

DH fed Jake "Habenero Pepper Doritos" about a month ago... he learned to not do THAT again!
and we don't feed him wet food... it has the same effect

As for dry food, we give him IAMS...

If you're looking into raw feeding, you need to do some serious research about making it yourself. Otherwise I'd look into a prepared and frozen raw made by a company you know you can trust. If you're not prepared to do it properly, don't do it at all.

We feed our lab Kirkland (from Costco) - its made by the Diamond company. She's done well on it with no problems. She perfers the Chicken/Rice over the Lamb/Rice tho.
